Bali, as it is
If I were to upload all of my Bali pictures, it would be endless. I captured a total of 900+ shots for the whole of 5 days 4 nights in Bali. It was an awesome experience being there. It was my first time travelling just the two of us. We managed to explore and figured our way to and fro from the hotel. Walking through dark lanes etc.
We did few activities in Bali. Such as water rafting at Telaga Waja. We got it at a cheap price of only RP 200 000 by BAGUS rafting. We did water sports activities at Nusa Dua, in which we got a good price by our dearest driver, Sumandi Ketut. At Nusa Dua, we did flying fish, snorkelling, turtle island and glass bottom boat. My friend went for jet ski too, in which i didnt.
We went to quite a number of sight seeing places such as watching the volcano at kintamani. View of the temple at Tanah Lot, oh my god, i can't seem to recall what else we've viewed but most of the sceneries there were awesome. Oh and we shopped alot at krishna, simply because we didn't have to bargain there and the prices there were already cheap! The factory outlets located away from kuta were much more cheaper. The stalls/stuffs sold along kuta and legian were more costly, as it is a tourist attraction place. So, if you didnt bargain to the lowest that you can get, you're missing out alot! We're really thankful we've got such a good driver, as he willingly shared all the tips that we need in order not to get 'cheated' by the locals.
On another note, the route during water rafting was simply breathtaking! We rafted through numerous waterfalls, surrounded by greenery and going through very low bridges in which we have to lean back to go through it. Now, I understand why people say 'you should try water rafting in BALI!' Yes, i've to say Bali's water rafting is better than Phuket's water rafting. What's more, it ends with a 4m fall! hehehe.
Oh not to forget, we watched Dolphins LIVE in the beaches at Lovina Beach. We went on our last day. We left the hotel at 3am. It takes 2 hours to reach the destination. Once reached, we waited till its 6am to move off. OMG. I was really impressed with the view of the sunrise along with seeing dolphins at such a close encounter. This is one of the most memorable experience ever!
Food wise..err..sad to say most of the food there were erm beyond our expectations. hehehe. Phuket has more awesome tasty food. Maybe the only food that tasted good in bali is the cup noodles and their fast food. I shall share more details of my personal driver in my next post. To those who're going Bali for the first time, you might want to consider getting him because he's real nice and goood!. Cheap cheap, good goood!
