have you read the new paper on sunday?
because i read this one article and it puts me off.
Its about this chica named Ms faraliza tan, who is reigning the miss singapore world. someone who is smart, young and eligible. She is initially from normal stream to NUT Dean's list.
She was telling the paper about her current condition of her single life. As mentioned " I havent been approached by a guy for a date for many years. " Her peers commented that she's hot and etc.
Then they were somehow critisizing singapore men, who are afraid of dating such girls because they prefer someone who is down to earth and singaporeans men were afraid not being compatible with this type of chica and so on.
I dont know but i just dont agree on what they say on the article. Doesnt mean that a girl who is pretty and who is smart will get a man easily. Love does not only depend on that. Maybe there are some characteristic of the girl that makes the guys turn off and etc. A guy friend of her mentioned that she is hot and he is not attracted to her because "she is not the social - butterfly sort. "
Some even mentioned, "It comes down to ego. i think most guys cannot stand being below standards set by a girl. "
I just dont understand in such cases whereby a singaporean girl who is hot and smart and have difficulties dating, they will put the blame on singaporean guys. I just felt that it is unfair. There must be some reason why the guys wouldnt want to be attached to her. Aside from her capability and her beauty.
In my opinion i just felt like she is making herself looks so pathetic. You're young, hot and smart and yet no one wants you. Like wth? And you go around critisizing people who are afraid to be with you because you're way better than them or whatsoeva. Sounds a little like desperado huh?
It's not as if like she's too hot to die for, get what i mean?
On a random note :
i told myself i wont get anymore tops for this month and i failed. Ive already eye-ed on something and i felt like i really want it! grrr.
Too many tops and only few bottoms.
Big boss msg-ed me yst, have to go down to main branch to get the ka-ching stuffs done. :)
& i still have difficulties sleeping at night, im turning to an owl.
