TheMindCafe's Annual Dinner 09

After working there for more than a year, finally, i've witnessed the annual dinner that they organized ytd. I wouldnt say it was the best dinner that i've attended but i'd say it was the most memorable one that i had.

The dinner was held at aloha loyang. True enough, going to the chalet was such a chore . Firstly, because we have absolutely no idea how to go over so yea, ended up we took cab there. We had problems waiting for our other colleagues etc. Thus, i went to the chalet with hoong choon, in which that wasnt the initial plan.

Once we're there, being the part timers, we were unfamiliarized with the rest of the full time staffs, except for the ones from our outlet of course. Different groups of people were seen all over the place.

Yes, we felt like strangers to that place, lucky for us, we have each other. So, we went over to look at the cooked food, seemed like the portion is left only around quarter of the whole tray and true enough, it doesnt look that appetizing to me. I took the salad, take a few spoonful of it and threw the rest away to the bin.

Hours later, after slacking around, we had a mini amazing race within the chalet itself, we're broken down into groups. Then after, where we had our lucky draw, in which i got a prize but unfortunately, it turned out to be a wine =;=. I was expecting an uno stacko or sth. hehe! Then, our boss gave us a talk and prize giving ceremony, then after we had the camwhoring session and last but not least, we practise a chinese custom in which we have to erm, use chopstick to "play" with the noodle(i think) with some other ingredients ontop of it, after few good chi words were being said.

Oh, going back home was the most unfavourable part. One of my colleague, drove me over halfway with his bike, in which i changed to kelvin's bike to tamp int, to catch the last bus but it turned out that i missed that last bus. So i rushed over to the train area to see if i can still catch the last train. As expected, the train service has already stopped. Then, i was having thoughts on whether to go home straightaway by cab or go over back to the chalet where i can go back with my other colleagues by taxi, such that the cost of the taxi will be divided into two or sth.

But thanks to love's advice, i headed home straightaway by cab. The fare was around 25bucks, thank god i brought extra cash. I was having a major headache in the taxi due to idkwhy. But seriously, tht headache cld have killed me. Once, im home-ed, everyone was already asleep except for mum who was at work and yet still worries abt my return etc. ilher.

Anw, erm this mouse of mine sucks big time, as a result, few others of the pictrs that i've uploaded here are accidentally being deleted. =;=
