The article mentioned that few of the current getai performances are considered R rated, reason being, the performers stripped themselves to two piece clothings.

Put aside getai, lets just say you hear about this event where people come together to be entertained and the performers not only sing/dance but also do stripping and pole dancing, where would you imagine that kinda event is held at? Obviously in a club or pub right? Well, apparently now, such events are actually held near to living estates, infact, it might even be held next to where you're staying at.

Apparently, current getai performers are becoming more daring. Based on the article, the performer above, not only sing and dance but also stripped to two piece clothing. Well, obviously i dont have much knowledge on how a proper getai should be conducted. But obviously ive seen numerous getai performances as i grew and so far ive never witnessed anything like it. It is somewhat interesting, yes, but at the same time very inappropriate. yes, why? because, its being held at a very open space and the audiences consist of various age group. Due to that, some organizers have actually been fine due to introducing such performances. Im a nobody to judge whats right or wrong, what ive written is just based on my opinion. So, i leave to each individual to think and reflect on this, whether is it appropriate to conduct such performances in public.
