pretty, such a pity.
i went to school to get the form, apart from that, i met some familiar faces. Few of my peers went to reformat their lappy and i think i really should to! Maybe after sept 11th. Speaking abt tht, the sept 11th, some people really thinks they are way better than me, (in which maybe its partly true), looks at me differently, like as if i dont deserve this? to hell aite. cause i believe that, every individual deserve a chance for anything. and even if you're good/better, you have no right to look down at others :)
Done with schoolf stuffs, i went to yew tee, sungai kadut with aidie in search of the place where he have to submit his furniture competition stuff. Yes, and the map tht he gt, was so "reliable". Thanks to my good sense of direction ;p, we finally found the location. yes, it was drizzling and i felt lucky that i brought my umbrella as i rarely did it and this time, i brought it and it is really of a good use. while searching for the place, we saw this very big and beautiful piece of building smacked in the middle of the industrial area with greek architecture designs on it, simply astounding. yes, sadly i forgotten to bring my cam, thus, pictures that was captured in my mobile seemed pathetic, so i guess there's no need for me to upload it here.
Once, done. I met han at cwp to get some stuffs. He's really helpful at getting those stuffs despite his ' im not good at making decisions' habit. And back home to breakfast! i must say, the weather was perfect to enter lalaland and thats what i did after im done with breakfasting. heheh!
yes, apart from all that, hehe. things are going smoothly between me and love, and because love can never be mad for long with me.heeee. he's just one of a kind you know? ;)) & obviously, i am veryy eager to see him this saturday! please, make it happen. <3 CLICK HEREEE!
So, what do you think of it?
Well, apparently, the public have been critisizing Ms Singapore for her poor diction. And the article mentioned that, we have been to harsh towards her. For she's only 19 and we should not critisize her for that. But in my opinion, i think she deserves that. In fact, its a shame to the judges.
Why? because, ive no idea on how they select which is the best female to win the Ms Singapore, bt clearly, through this, you can roughly tell their standard of judging. I seriously think that, in order to even be a Ms Singapore, first thing is that, one should have atleast a decent diction. Simply because this person is going to represent our country, thus, she has to communicate with people from all over the countries.
Imagine that, with her poor diction, it will really leave a bad impression of the foreigners towards our country. Yes, and in that video, she was being questioned with only those simple questions, yet, she has much difficulty answering them in proper language. What abt Ms universe later on, where they will actually give even tougher questions? i doubt she can even answer those questions. I believe that, age is not an excuse for her poor diction, ive friends who can clearly speak wayy better than she does, so i really think that just because she's 19, she should forgo her poor diction. Surely, they can find other contestants with better diction than her, right? =;=
